PEA PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

A recipe for a healthy and moist apple cake without sugar, butter, or eggs that can easily rival any traditional cake. A slice makes the perfect companion to your morning drink or a wholesome snack for your child’s school lunchbox.
What you’ll need:
• 4 cups grated apple (I prefer green apples for a touch of tartness)
• 1 ½ cups honey or maple syrup
• 1 cup neutral coconut oil or vegetable oil
• 2 tablespoons orange juice
• Zest from 1 orange
• 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove)
• ½ cup walnuts
