It is effective in treating acne, as well as both old and new scars. Additionally, it is beneficial for wounds that heal slowly.
It can also be applied to diaper rash in children or used as a moisturizing cream for the body and face. Thanks to its antiseptic properties, it can be used (in the form of an infusion) for mouth rinses or gargles, as well as in the treatment of gingivitis.

Individuals taking sedatives should be aware that consuming calendula as an infusion alongside these medications may exacerbate drowsiness. Additionally, it may cause an allergic reaction in those with sensitivities to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family, such as chrysanthemums, marigolds, and daisies.
