Roman chamomile has a sweet, fresh, exotic, and rich aroma. It is widely considered to have the best fragrance among the three types of chamomile. The essential oil of Roman chamomile, like that of German chamomile, contains azulene a powerful anti-inflammatory compound that is not naturally present in the plant but forms during the distillation process.
Roman chamomile essential oil has multiple therapeutic properties and is non-toxic, making it particularly suitable for use on children.
It contains the potent anti-inflammatory azulene, which helps soothe a wide range of skin conditions.
Calming & Relaxing: Known for its soothing and relaxing effects, it helps alleviate stress, daily tension, irritability, hysteria, and neuralgia. It is also beneficial for headaches and insomnia. It can even help calm children’s restlessness. Use it for inhalation, diffusers, baths, topical applications, or massages.
Skin Care: With its soothing and antiseptic properties, Roman chamomile essential oil is ideal for sensitive and dry skin. It aids in treating acne, eczema, diaper rash, burns, and minor wounds by reducing inflammation. Use it in face masks, compresses, direct applications, or massages.

Safe Use Guidelines
Please note that our essential oils are not for internal use, except for oregano oil and Chios mastic oil. Our essential oils are 100% pure and highly concentrated, so they should never be applied directly to the skin. Always dilute them in a carrier oil before use. Keep them stored in a safe place, away from children.
For safety, we recommend performing an allergy test before using any essential oil. Apply a drop of a 1% diluted mixture (essential oil in a carrier oil) to your forearm and wait for 4-5 hours to check for any reaction.
Avoid contact with the eyes, as they are highly sensitive. Do not apply essential oils near or around the eye area, even when diluted.
If using a citrus essential oil, avoid sun exposure for at least 6 hours, as these oils are photosensitive and may cause skin irritation.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.
