Arnica stimulates the circulation of white blood cells, which play a key role in healing and reducing fluid accumulation in injured joints, swollen muscles, and bruised tissues.
Many professional athletes turn to arnica oil to treat injuries during training or competitions. Its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties make it effective for:
- Muscle pain, spasms, strains, and rheumatic pain.
- Sprains, bruises, and swelling caused by fractures.
- Insect bites.
- Hair loss (Massage arnica oil into the scalp to improve blood circulation, promoting hair growth and strengthening).
The anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects of arnica come from its thymol derivatives. Thymol is known for its vasodilating properties, which enhance blood and fluid circulation to affected areas, making it a powerful natural anti-inflammatory agent.
Arnica oil can be used on its own or combined with myrrh essential oil (see the Usage section) for even better results.
